Over the years we've had the pleasure of enjoying some absolutely spectacular MMOFPS games that have given us hours upon hours of enjoyment. In this article we'll be talking about the games that we think are above and beyond the rest and shedding some light on the things that make these games so great.

Of course it goes without saying that this list is purely opinion based so it’s likely that there some people might disagree with the placement of certain games on the list. However, before going into it, we definitely want to point out that we took multitudes of factors into consideration before finalizing this list such as gameplay, new player friendliness, visuals, variety and much more so, while there may be a few disagreements, we still strongly feel that this list is quite accurate.


Piercing Blow

The reason we like Piercing Blow so much is the fact that it’s absolutely loaded with variety. The game has multitudes of different kinds of weapons that players can utilize to wreak havoc on their opponents. The maps of the Piercing Blow are also really high quality and there’s a lot of them so this is basically the kind of FPS that you won’t get bored of no matter how much you play it. Another thing worth mentioning is that Piercing Blow is a very nicely balanced game so it has a pretty big competitive as well.


Team Fortress 2

Widely regarded as one of the most addictive and popular MMOFPS games out there, Team Fortress 2 is an absolute delight to play. It has a very thorough class system and its gameplay is entirely team focused which leads to a very immersive experience. Team Fortress 2 is one of those games that you simply cannot win on your own due to the emphasis on teamwork and successfully coordinating and launching attacks with teammates in TF2 is one of the most satisfying experiences that the shooter genre has to offer.


Bravo Storm

The main thing that makes Bravo Storm worth playing is the fact that it allows players to enjoy the full-fledged MMOFPS experience in the comfort of their own browser. The game features extremely high quality visuals, fine-tuned gameplay mechanics and of course a solid variety of game modes and weapons to make sure that players remain hooked.


Crossfire

Crossfire came out quite some time ago and even today it’s one of the finest shooter games out there. While its visuals might not be up there with the best looking shooters available right now, this is more than made up for with the fact that Crossfire’s shooting mechanics are some of the absolute best out there. For hardcore FPS players, this is definitely the game to play.


Paladins: Champions of the Realm

Paladins: Champions of the Realm is by no means like traditional shooting games and this is primarily due to the fact that it implements various MOBA inspired elements into the mix. The mix of MOBA styled gameplay coupled with the game’s solid FPS mechanics make for a refreshing and exhilarating experience.

All said and done, the aforementioned MMOFPS games are those that we think are some of the best available right now. Needless to say, we recommend trying them out whenever you can.
