FPS games over the years have gone through an incredible amount of changes in pretty much every single aspect. The gameplay mechanics have been reworked, extra features have been added and overall they’re a lot different now from the traditional games of the past. Operation 7, instead of following the trend, takes a step backwards and aims to provide players with a more classical experience that’s been refined to a very high degree.

Although the game is quite simple to grasp as it focuses mostly on traditional shooter mechanics, the game still attempts to introduce newcomers to the game with a fairly in-depth tutorial. The first match you play will also double up as a tutorial sequence and to keep things simple it’ll be against bots. In this match you’ll be taught about all the key mechanics of the game and pretty much everything you need to know such as buying equipment and controls etc.

The gameplay of Operation 7, as already implied before, is quite similar to the classic FPS shooters of the past.

First off this means that players will have to rely on their skill a lot more than their equipment because not every single gun will be able to aim down the sights or have a magnification scope. While this might give the game a steep learning curve, getting the hang of these things is more than worth it because once you’ve finally got the mechanics down, landing long range headshots without anything but your own accuracy aiding you is one of the most satisfying moments in gaming. The amount of weapons and equipment you get to choose from is fairly varied.

There are assault rifles, snipers, SMGs and pretty much every kind of weapon out there so players with all kinds of play-styles will be able to find something of their preferences. There are also things like smoke grenades and flash bangs that you can utilize to get a tactical advantage over your enemy. Overall, the gameplay is quite intense and fast paced and skill really counts this time around.

Going into the graphics, although every other part of the game is really polished, the visual aspect could use a bit of work. The weapon and character designs are pretty spot on but the maps can certainly be improved a lot by adding some better quality textures and such. Even though the game might not be able to deliver a top tier visual experience, you’ll still find that the graphics are more than satisfactory and won’t be as big of an issue.

The premium currency of Operation 7 is Mcash. Mcash, like all premium currencies, can be acquired by using real world money and can then be used in the cash shop to purchase things such as ammunition, equipment and different kinds of weapons.
